Bad Beat Wife
True Story!
My wife played poker the other day. Texas holdem.
She got AA in the hole.
At the river she got her fourth ace!
She got beat by a royal flush.
I’m not making this up.
I saw it happen.

Wow! That sucks! And really – I think this is the only time I heard of a wife getting a bad beating and felt is was unacceptable!
KIDDING!
Really!
Seriously now – I don’t need Dawnell and Deannie and all them other “D”‘s screaming at me.
I was K I D D I N G ! ! !
(really)
(honest!)
You really think they read past ‘unacceptable’?
What are ya? Suicidal?
Hmmm – you are probably right. really good that I didn’t continue to exclaim that I didn’t want any of those “double-D’s” yelling at me either. Fortunately, I caught myself JUST in time!
Heading south (WAY south). TTYL (maybe)

Wow, where you playing for real money or just for fun? I’m somethimes playing on partypoker.com (for play money points) i won some realy nice pot’s with a big amount off points just with one pair off two’s. Maybe you have to learn Dawnell ‘toepen’ or ‘pesten’. That’s less painfull when you are beaten by a realy nice hand.
Need some more tisues?
C.U. at partypoker !?

@Roy ..
Well well… found your old uncle’s blog, eh? 😉
Anyway it WAS, in fact, for real money.
However, the odds for this happening are so astronomical, one has to wonder if there’s not more to the story ..
And, of course, there is! 😉
And yes, if you’re in big pots with ducks .. I’ll be looking forward to meeting you at partypoker! 😉
Timezone difference may be a problem though… We’ll see…
So there’s more to the story, is there?
I bet the “bad” in the story’s headline can be replaced by “Paul”.
Did she find out by herself, or did you have to tell her the odds for this happening, in order to realise there were “easier explanations”?
@Injun .. “So there’s more to the story, is there?”
Yes.
And no, “Paul” had no part in this, other than being a witness.
She found out by herself… that is, although realizing the oods, she wasn’t overly shocked to see this happen to her.
