JUST <\/strong>after I wrote the post about ‘remnant prayer’, I came across an hilarious website that offered Armor of God Pyjama’s<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Hilarious, untill I realized these people are most likely serious about it. Just read it. I’m just speechless. Don’t know where to begin. Too crazy for words.<\/p>\n

Okay, just one remark: see their about<\/a> page and notice these two statements:<\/p>\n

a. “although we are a new company, our desire is to grow” (followed by a lot of blah-blah, but what they want is to simply sell a lot of that crap .. I’m tempted to say “Holy Crap”).<\/p>\n

b. “we believe in One <\/strong>God – God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit”<\/p>\n

ad. b: Armor-of-God-folks, if you keep up this kind of arithmetic, or rather, basic counting, you’re probably not going to achieve your goal mentioned ad.\u00c2\u00a0a.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

Well, okay, maybe a second remark:<\/p>\n

This whole idea was inspired by a mother reading Ephesians 6:10-18 to her children every night.<\/p>\n

First of all, read it yourself here<\/a>: imagine that this is read to you every<\/strong> night .. is that really going to give\u00c2\u00a0you a warm fuzzy feeling and\u00c2\u00a0helps you\u00c2\u00a0falling asleep feeling safe and well guarded? Flaming arrows from the evil ones? Would scare\u00c2\u00a0any<\/strong> kid shitless ..\u00c2\u00a0If<\/strong> they had a clue what it was all about.<\/p>\n

But they don’t. They’re kids <\/strong>for crying out loud.<\/p>\n

Heck, even mama doesn’t really understand what it is all about:<\/p>\n

“Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”<\/em><\/p>\n

See that Mam? That helmet and that sword? It’s a (difficult word: look it up mam!) ‘metaphor’. It doesn’t mean a\u00c2\u00a0real<\/strong> helmet or a real<\/strong> sword, it means (read it again!) “the word of God<\/em>“, whatever\u00c2\u00a0that<\/strong> means,\u00c2\u00a0but most definitely\u00c2\u00a0it does not<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a0mean a pyjama<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

It’s not about man to man combat (could ‘our struggle is not against flesh and blood<\/em>‘ be anymore clear?)!<\/p>\n

It’s about fighting rulers corrupting power. It’s simply telling you to join the ACLU.<\/p>\n

Just join the ACLU and don’t turn your kids into the joke of the day by forcing them\u00c2\u00a0to wear\u00c2\u00a0moronic PJ’s.<\/p>\n
