Actually, they did exactly the opposite 😉
But you earned your token, if only for spelling “definitely” correctly 😉

Perhaps you should make a complain. Then again they probably wouldn’t bother. Nice trick though, making the slot machines look like bingo machines. Perhaps you could think of something similar and put one outside your house and earn an extra 20 bucks a day. (The police might not be too happy though.)

Speaking of Joost tokens, I definitely need one!!!

I’m okay with the house having the advantage, or else they wouldn’t be there. But they can get TOO greedy, and that’s what appears to be happening at these Seminole Hard Rock Casino’s.

True.. not to mention Joost tokens! 😉 (no, not referring to you)

And yes, I read about the programming to make those machines behave like popular slot machines. The main difference remains the pay-out percentage, and the fact that you don’t play ‘against’ the casino, but against other players.
I did some research on Mrs. Smith, and you are absolutely correct! She DID die in the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Broward county in Florida (indeed close to Miami), not the one in Tampa. I will correct my post… Thanks!

A couple of notes:
As I understand it, bingo-based slots are not that uncommon, and can be programmed to behave very similarly to regular (“class 3”) slots. It seems, however, that the Seminole Hard Rock people have programmed them to be very stingy. See the two links in my blog post.
I’m hardly an expert on Ms. Smith, but I believe she died in the other Seminole Hard Rock casino, 200 miles away near Miami.
