I now added a link to that part of the controversy to my mentioning of Noah’s flood above. I’ll give the link here too.
And then there is the controversy over the placed, then removed, and then being placed back again of several bronze plaques bearing Psalm verses at canyon overlooks.
All these controversies are now known as the Bush administration’s “Faith-based parks initiative”.

I’m disgusted that we might have the ability to cure some really nasty diseases just by using some extraneous left-over tissue — and I don’t give a rat’s ass where the tissue comes from.

I’m tired of wondering what someone wants to be called, black, white, Asian, Gay, Homosexual, Lesbian, etc, etc.

What’s really interesting is that while everyone argues against “labeling anyone” everyone expects me to know what label they want to be known as!

It’s a crazy ass planet – the good news is we aren’t on it for all that long.
