We only made them more accurate. They are nature’s true constants! That’s why Planck suggested that THESE values were the ones we would agree upon if we ever came in contact with extra-terrestials!
And my post was most definitely not about knowing everything. FAR from it.
As for the Star Trek comment… I had to check your blog to see what you were talking about: I take it you’re referring to Ltn. Uhura? In HER time, I don’t think they HAD holodecks. In any case, the Star Trek angle is, I’m afraid, accidental… sorry: no points for that, but you DO get 7 points for responding this fast (an eternity compared to Planck-time though!)

It changes as we learn more – at least it always has until now – I see no reason to expect that suddenly we know everything!
